The Theta Chapter realizes the National Fraternity's philanthropy of the Mills Music Mission by visiting nearby Crouse Hospital. At least once a semester, our Brothers offer our talents of music and sing for the patients and their families. Songs range from old-time love tunes to patriotic numbers.
All of our Brothers have meaningful stories to tell about our Mills Music Missions, but the truly inspiring emotions can only be realized once experienced.
"I particularly remember singing to an elderly man who was suffering from Dementia. At first, he appeared confused and slightly wary at our presence in his room. His wife, however, was at his side and told us that our music really relaxed him and, while we may not have brought back memories, we brought back joy if only for a little while."
